Op de basisschool Immacul\u00e9e Conception Tsihinu, een school met 900 kinderen in de armste wijk van Kpalim\u00e9, waren er geen toiletten en ook geen waterput. De kinderen van deze school hebben bijna allemaal wormen en parasieten in hun darmen. Met hulp van twee kerken in Nederland hebben wij de drie bestaande – niet meer functionerende toiletten – opgeknapt en er zes nieuwe bijgebouwd.<\/p>\n

Er waren ooit drie goed functionerende toiletten maar die zijn gaandeweg verstopt geraakt en buiten gebruik gekomen. Overigens is de norm 1 toilet op 100 kinderen, dus met ruim 900 kinderen waren die drie veel te weinig.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_1_placeholder\n
De toiletten worden extra solide gebouwd (met stalen deuren en hoge muren), zodat de mensen uit de buurt ze niet als afvalberg kunnen gebruiken. Ze worden ook extra diep gegraven zodat ze niet om de haverklap hoeven te worden geleegd.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_2_placeholder\n
De toiletten zijn klaar. Er is een groep van zes nieuwe toiletten, waarvan twee voor jongens, twee voor meisjes en twee voor leraren. En de drie bestaande toiletten zijn helemaal opgeknapt.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_3_placeholder\n

Die had een enorm feest georganiseerd voor deze gelegenheid met ruim 100 kinderen die zongen en dansten, toespraken van de schoolleiding, de voorzitter van de Ouderraad en van Jouke Schat namens onze stichting en een bezoek aan de nieuwe toiletten. Daarom is een waterput hard nodig. Die willen we op korte termijn realiseren. De school zal zelf ook bijdragen aan de kosten van de put. Op de put komt een touwpomp, die wordt gefinancierd door de Stichting Victoriepompen. Celle-ci avait organis\u00e9 une grande f\u00eate pour cette occasion avec plus de 100 enfants qui chantaient et dansaient, avec des discours de la direction de l’\u00e9cole, du pr\u00e9sident de l’association des parents et de Jouke Schat au nom de notre association, et avec une visite des nouvelles toilettes. Nous voulons en r\u00e9aliser un \u00e0 court terme. L’\u00e9cole contribuera aussi aux frais de ce puits. Sur le puits sera plac\u00e9e une pompe \u00e0 corde, financ\u00e9e par l’association Victoriepompen.
